For me, the best things about the holidays include sweet treats and some extra time for sweet reads. This season, try out a new decadent dessert that takes no extra time but will impress your friends and family. For sweet romantic adventure to take you away, check out my sea romance reads, BY HEART AND COMPASS, or how about some TURTLE SOUP?

TRIPLE LAYER BROWNIES
Ingredients:

1 bag of miniature marshmallows
1 teaspoon of butter
1 ½ cups of semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup of peanut butter
1 ½ cups of rice crisp cereal
Directions:
Bake brownies as directed. Three minutes before baking time ends, pull out pan and layer brownies with a whole bag of miniature marshmallows. Finish baking 3 minutes. Cool. On the stovetop in a medium pot, melt chocolate chips, butter and peanut butter over medium low heat. Stir until creamy. Remove from heat, and stir in cereal. Pour and spread over marshmallow layer. Chill in refrigerator and cut into bars.
