Please excuse the typos in Deirdre’s post. She told me she was typing with a sore finger–I won’t share her embarrasing story!–and I forgot to edit before I posted it. Sorry Deirdre–it still makes sense if one overlooks the typos. Better next time.
Giggle–Deirdre’s accident recalls a verse my dad used to recite and claim he had learned from his mom, my grandmother. Well maybe… She was Irish so it is possible!
“Way down south in pasture green A wildcat sat on a sewing machine. The sewing machine did sew so fast It sewed nine stitches in the wildcat’s …….ear. ”
You gotta watch those rogue sewing machines!
